Harnessing Research and Innovation for FOOD 2030
 
The European Commission is organizing a one day conference to disseminate successful European Research and Innovation initiatives in the area of Food Nutrition and Security.
 
The conference will provide a stakeholder platform to assess the current state of European research, innovation and investment, and explore future needs relevant to the Food and Nutrition Security priorities of:
 
  • Sustainable and healthy nutrition;
  • Climate-resilience and environmental sustainability;
  • Circularity and resource efficiency; and
  • Food system innovation and empowerment of communities.
 
The event will take place on October 16, 2017 in Brussels. Participation is free of charge and will be open to researchers, funders and investors, policy makers and public authorities, industry, entrepreneurs, students and civil society representatives. To get involved, register here.
