Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 Info week including high-level policy events

From November 14-17, 2017 the EC organises an information event in Brussels dedicated to H2020 Societal Challenge 2 (SC2): ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’.

The Info week will deliver all you need to know about new funding opportunities for 2018-2020 in SC2, the Bioeconomy policy, digitisation and Blue Growth. The Info week is structured in two parts:

Part 1: Funding opportunities and how to benefit
Featuring presentations on the new funding opportunities under Work Programme 2018-2020 and a brokerage event for potential applicants in SC2.

Part 2: The broader EU policy context
Featuring three high-level policy events presenting the latest evolutions in the broader EU policy context related to SC2 activities and how it relates with activities under Horizon 2020.

With the upcoming publication of the final Horizon 2020 Work Programme, this year’s Info week will be of particular interest for any follow-up activities on the G2P-SOL project.

Further information and registration links will be provided on the event website.

The G2P-SOL project (Title: Linking genetic resources, genomes and phenotypes of Solanaceous crops) has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 677379.
